Hyrox Youngstars Competition for Kids Set to Launch in Singapore
Hyrox Youngstars, a fitness competition designed for children aged eight to 15, is set to make its Asian debut in Singapore this November. Following successful events in cities like Amsterdam and London, this exciting competition will take place at the Singapore Expo from November 28 to 29.
The event will be organized into four distinct age categories, each further divided by biological gender: eight to nine years old, 10 to 11 years old, 12 to 13 years old, and 14 to 15 years old. This structure ensures that children compete against peers of similar age and physical development, fostering a fair and encouraging environment.

Exciting Challenges Await Young Competitors
Similar to the original Hyrox competition for adults, Hyrox Youngstars will feature eight exercise stations tailored to the different age groups. Among the activities included are the SkiErg, sled push, and lunges, all designed to challenge the young competitors while promoting fitness and athleticism. However, the total running distance will vary according to the participant's age group, ensuring that the competition is appropriately challenging for each category. The full rulebook detailing the event's structure and requirements is available on the official Hyrox website.
Improve your workout
Registration for the inaugural Hyrox Youngstars event in Singapore will open on October 8, providing an opportunity for young athletes and their families to participate in this unique fitness experience.
In a statement, Jessica Petty, head of Hyrox Youngstars, expressed her excitement about launching the event in Asia. She remarked, "This launch is an incredibly special moment. Singapore hosted one of our first Youngstars activations in 2024, playing a key role in shaping the race concept and format we now know today. To see it all come full circle with our first race in Asia is something we are incredibly proud of. Youngstars is about giving young people the opportunity to get active, challenge themselves, and build confidence through fitness racing, and we’re so excited we get to bring that experience to children and families across Asia."
