Jaideep Sahu, a powerlifter hailing from Chhattisgarh, has made headlines by winning a gold medal at the Asian, Pacific and African International Powerlifting Championship. Competing in the 66 kg senior category, Sahu achieved a remarkable total lift of 452.5 kg, which secured him the top position in the competition held from July 4 to July 12.
